Hi,
I have had problem downloading torrents for a couple of months now. No matter which client I use, I always get the same error. The Metadatas won't download. My torrent stays stuck at connecting to peers without actually downloading anything.
At first, I thought it was a problem with my network. However, I have tried downloading torrents with my computer with different network, and it won't work.
My girlfriend also had the same problem on her laptop. She couldn't download any torrents from neither my house nor hers. However, when her brother launched the same torrent file we were trying to download, it worked right away.
We tried torrents from various source, we also tried magnet link vs directly downloading the torrent folder. I tried to delete the cache and deleting the resume.dat file. I have also tried downloading with and without my vpn activated, to no avail.

The worst in all that, is that my girlfriend moved away two weeks ago and her torrents just started working out of nowhere! We simply can't figure out why some computers will download, and some won't. Why some networks will work, and some won't.
